Accessibility statement
A meadow everyone can visit.
We want every family to be able to enjoy Sissy the Butterfly — including visitors who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, captions, or reduced motion.
What we do
- This site is built on an accessibility-first foundation: semantic HTML, landmark regions, a skip link, logical headings, and full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Colors aim for WCAG AA contrast, and the site respects your system’s dark-mode and reduced-motion preferences.
- Our printables are made to be printed and enjoyed off-screen — no account, no app, no time limits.
Where we’re honest
We’re a small team — a teacher, her family, and carefully supervised helpers — and we’re always improving. If something on this site doesn’t work well for you, that’s a bug we want to fix.
Tell us
Email sissythebutterfly3@gmail.com and a real person will read it. Please tell us what happened and, if you can, which browser or assistive technology you were using.
